Singing for health

can't sing?

Over the last 10 years I have been invited to join,
on average, singing training groups about 3 times
a year.

I cannot count the number of times I have heard
people say,on the first day, "I can't sing!".

I can count the number of people who went away
from those courses
( for example,
with an Oslo based course leader named
Eli Helland
)
who were unable to sing at the end:

.

We have many weird ideas about singing - most
of those ideas are based upon 'social approval'
concepts. They are not actually our ideas about
who we are, they are the input we take from
others about who we are.

Ever noticed if you start to sing how some others
have that 'wish I dare do that' look on their face?

Now I have a very simple question:
If I could take medicine that may save my
life, or make my life quality much more
enjoyable, would I bother about the opinions of
others?
